MIPIM

Abintra’s David Maddison represented us in Cannes at MIPIM 2025, the world’s largest real estate conference.

David attended numerous events to meet new and existing contacts and held a number of one-to-one meetings with potential clients and partners.

MIPIM 2025 took place from 11 to 14 March at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France. Since its inception in 1990, MIPIM (Marché International des Professionnels de l’Immobilier) has grown into a pivotal gathering for property professionals worldwide. The 2025 edition attracted more than 25,000 participants, including developers, investors, city officials, and architects, offering a comprehensive platform for networking, exhibitions, and discussions on the future of urban development as well as numerous fringe events.

The event featured more than 2,600 exhibitors and a robust conference programme addressing key industry topics such as sustainable urban planning, smart city innovations, and investment trends.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan led a delegation to promote £22 billion worth of investment opportunities in the UK capital, highlighting projects such as the Liverpool Street redevelopment and the Bakerloo Line extension.

Beyond the formal sessions, MIPIM offered a vibrant atmosphere for informal networking, with many attendees holding meetings and events aboard luxury yachts docked at the nearby Vieux Port. While the event was renowned for its opulence and had occasionally faced criticism for its extravagant nature, it remained a cornerstone for forging significant partnerships and exploring innovative solutions in the real estate sector.
